#7 'Ibuku'

Ibuku yang mulia,
sanggup beilau berkorban demiku.
Namun aku tak sanggup
melihat beliau menderita.

Ibuku yang rajin,
sanggup beliau menatang minyak penuh
demi keselesaan hidupku.

Ibuku bagaikan matahari,
sanggup beliau menyinarkan kehidupanku,
demi hala tuju masa depanku.

Ibuku,
memberi erti kehidupan kepadaku,
sanggup aku berkorban demimu,
kerana engkaulah
ibuku yang mulia.

P/s: A Malay poem specially for my mother. This was my FIRST ever time writing a Malay one! That was when my Form 3 Malay teacher asked us to write a poem to our mother. I can still remember that time Anis wrote a very loooooooooooong poem. As for me, I'd rather short with simple vocabulary but meaningful one! William Shakespeare also wrote super long poem with deep meaning inside, need some time to figure it out @@''
